Talking to his fans, Pankaj Tripathi said, “Hello everyone I thank you all, and I don’t remember why I came live today. It is a frequent habit of mine, those who know me can testify on my behalf.”

Towards the end, people questioned if the actor was okay after this new turn of events. Some even questioned his slip, accusing him of teasing people intentionally. Nevertheless, the suspense for his cryptic announcement has grown due to the excitement around the encounter, and then he suddenly disappears into an air of doubt.

Not so long ago, Pankaj Tripathi won another National Award. A day after he celebrated his 20 years in Mumbai, he was awarded the Best Supporting Actor National Award for 'Mimi'.

"I am happy and humbled. I feel anything is possible if you persevere and do your work with honesty. I completed 20 years in Mumbai yesterday. This is my second honour at the National Awards. I'm grateful to all the viewers, all my directors, Laxman Utekar (director of 'Mimi'), and the jury for choosing me," the actor said.  

"To the audience members who have given me so much love. At the awards ceremony, people came up to me and said my win felt like a personal achievement to them. It feels great since I have also come from the masses," the 47-year-old actor told PTI in an interview here.

On the professional front, following the triumph of 'Oh My God 2' and 'Fukrey 3', Pankaj Tripathi's next part will be that of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in his upcoming movie 'Main Atal Hoon'. 

Also, he is set to star in the theatrical films 'Stree 2' and 'Metro In Dino'.
